1 Glass or Mason Jar
1 French Press
1 Small Saucepan
- 1 Cup Cold brew coffee
- 1/2 Cup Almond milk
- 2 Tbs Honey
- 2 Tbs Water
- 1 Cup Ice Cubes
In a small saucepan mix your honey and equal parts water. Heat until it starts to boil, remove from heat and stir until the honey has dissolved. This is basically a simple syrup but with honey instead of sugar. If you put regular honey directly into your cold coffee it will harden and will not mix into your cold brew drink. Set honey blend aside to cool. Fill a glass or mason jar half way with ice cubes.
Pour in your honey mixture, leaving a small amount to add to your almond milk.
Pour your cold brew coffee into your glass.
Froth your almond milk and the rest of the honey syrup in your frother machine or use a hand frother if your have one. This step is totally optional. Starbucks does not froth the milk for this specific drink but I love me some cold foam!
Drizzle with honey for garnish
